Resident Participation & the M.O.S

The Michigan Otolaryngolotical Society encourages
resident participation throughout the year.

Quarterly meeting fees are $10.00 for residents enrolled
in an Otolaryngology Residency program. Ask your program director for details.

Recognition and prize opportunities are awarded at the Annual Summer Meeting.

Resident Competition Guidelines:

The resident must be listed as first author on any submitted abstract.
The research should be translational or clinical research and strongly related to clinical practice.
Winners must present at the July meeting to present their papers and receive the award.
There is a 10 minute limit to each presentation.
The research could have been previously presented but not published.
Abstracts must be sent to Karen Carter, Society Secretary, at kcarter@msms.org.
Winning Abstracts and the Resident's photo may be posted on the MOS website.
The approximate deadline for submission is May 1st.

1st Place : $750
2nd Place: $500
3rd Place and Poster Winners: $250 (funds permitting)
